  • What is your return policy?

  • Why do you whip with nitrogen?

Air-whipped tallow introduces oxygen, which speeds up oxidation, shortening shelf life and affecting quality. Nitrogen prevents this while also creating a smoother, more stable texture that absorbs better and feels lighter on the skin. This keeps our lotion fresher for longer without compromising its nourishing benefits.

  • How should I store my lotion, and how long does it last?

Our lotion is nitrogen-whipped, which not only gives it a light, airy texture but also helps prevent oxidation, keeping the ingredients fresher for longer. It's packaged in black glass jars to protect it from light and further preserve its quality. For best results, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Thanks to its carefully selected ingredients especially tallow, beeswax, and vitamin E, it has a naturally long shelf life. When stored properly, it should stay fresh for 12 to 18 months but if you love it as much as we do, it definitely won't last that long!

  • Is this safe for sensitive skin?

Yes! Our simple, natural ingredients are chosen for their nourishing and soothing properties. However, if you have known allergies or sensitivities, we recommend doing a patch test first.

  • Can I use this lotion as a beard conditioner?

Yes! Our tallow based lotion works great as a beard conditioner. The nourishing blend of tallow, jojoba oil, and vitamin E helps soften beard hair, moisturize the skin underneath, and promote a healthy, well-groomed look.

Simply rub a small amount between your fingers and work it into your beard as needed.

  • Are common lotion ingredients actually good for your skin?

Many conventional lotions contain ingredients that might feel nice at first but can have hidden downsides for your skin and overall health. Here are a few common culprits:

Petroleum-Based Ingredients (Mineral Oil, Petrolatum, Paraffin) – These create a barrier on the skin that locks in moisture but also traps bacteria and toxins. They offer no real nourishment and can disrupt the skin’s natural ability to breathe.

Synthetic Fragrances – Often listed simply as “fragrance” or “parfum,” these can contain dozens of undisclosed chemicals, some of which may cause irritation, allergies, or hormone disruption.

Parabens (Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, etc.) – Used as preservatives, parabens are known endocrine disruptors, meaning they can interfere with hormone function.

Phenoxyethanol – A common alternative to parabens, this preservative has been linked to skin irritation and potential nervous system effects with prolonged exposure.

Silicones (Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, etc.) – These give lotions a smooth, silky feel but can create a film on the skin that may clog pores and prevent proper absorption of beneficial ingredients.

Alcohols (Denatured Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Ethanol) – Often used to make lotions feel lightweight, these can strip the skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness and irritation over time.

Synthetic Emulsifiers (PEGs, Polysorbates, etc.) – These help oil and water mix but can be contaminated with harmful byproducts like 1,4-dioxane, a potential carcinogen.

Our lotion is free from these unnecessary additives, focusing instead on high-quality, skin-nourishing ingredients that truly benefit your skin.
